TILT brass
Led by composer, trombonist, and concert producer Chris McIntyre, TILT Brass is a Brooklyn-based organization dedicated to creating new content and contexts for contemporary brass music by producing inventive concert programs, recording projects, and commissioning initiatives. TILT boldly positions itself as the vanguard presenter and advocate for new brass music in New York City. Founded in 2003 by McIntyre and Gregory Evans, TILT Brass’ various projects present the work of living composers with over 50 premiere performancesthus far. Its personnel includes many of the brightest stars from the local brass community in ensemble configurations ranging from solo and chamber groups to experimental brass orchestra. TILT can be heard on releases by the Tzadik, New World, Non-Site, and POTTR labels.

CARLO COSTA & ZOSHA WARPEHA
Percussionist, drummer and composer Carlo Costa was born and grew up in Rome, Italy. Since 2005 he has been based in New York City. In the past several years he has been making music which is largely improvised and experimental in nature. Through the use of a variety of unusual techniques and added objects Carlo has meticulously developed a distinctive and wide-ranging sonic palette.
Zosha Warpeha is a composer-performer working in a meditative space at the intersection of contemporary improvisation and folk traditions. She performs primarily on Hardanger d’amore, a sympathetic-stringed instrument closely related to the Norwegian Hardanger fiddle, as well as five-string violin. Zosha’s long-form compositions explore transformations of time and tonality.

Tilghman Alexander Goldsboroughl (b. Richmond, VA, USA, 1991). Poet. His work has appeared in The Mall, the Leveler, and Nomaterialism (vol II). Forthcoming work includes The Western with 1080 press and object 7 ( ,a subject loosely, ,bunded in a frame, ) with Futurepoem. He lives in Brooklyn, NY.

ALMOG SHARVIT’S CORALITION
Almog Sharvit is an “irrepressibly mischievous and highly skilled” (The Big Takeover) bassist and composer who is never content to stay too long in one mode. His debut album Get Up or Cry has been called a “startlingly imaginative record” and “a masterpiece of syncopated sound” (Bass Magazine, Goldmine Magazine). In addition to his own project, Almog can be heard playing with his collective trio KADAWA, Sunny Jain’s Wild Wild East, The NYChillharmonic, Forager, Julia Easterlin, Ashni, Ambrose Getz, Ella Mar and many more. MINNIE JORDAN QUARTET
Minnie Jordan is a violinist hailing from Texas and living in Brooklyn. Her compositions draw inspiration from jazz tradition, but are also informed by the distinctive flavor of Texan roots music, as well as diverse non-musical sources such as bird songs and the occasional printer or leaking faucet. Her sound has been described as “elegant & cinematic,” “not undramatic,” and “lowkey prog rock vibes but jazz fiddle.”

Isaiah Collier is a Chicago/Brooklyn based multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, curator and educator. His style draws from master saxophonists such as John Coltrane, Roscoe Mitchell, and Wayne Shorter. Cosmic Transitions – his most recent album with The Chosen Few – received 5 stars from Downbeat magazine. He is a former fellow of the Dave Brubeck Institute, and one of the last musicians to work with the late Rudy Van Gelder.

Shara Lunon a transdisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She is the product of the evolution of Black American musical traditions. As a poet, vocalist, composer, and improviser, her art finds the ethereal in the chaotic. With voice as the foundation, Shara’s music is an exploration of text and sound that seamlessly weaves through the ongoing relationship of struggle, resilience, and resolution. Her goal is to challenge lassitude and in its place, instill hope.

Yonathan Peled is a trombonist, composer, arranger, and band leader based in New York. He has performed in music venues and jazz festivals around the world, collaborating with renowned artists and bands such as Yemen Blues, The Eyal Vilner Big Band, Ravid Kahalani, Omer Avital, and David Broza. His talent and versatility have taken him to world-renowned music festivals and venues such as Festival Jazz à Séte (France), Red Sea Jazz Festival (Israel), Bern Jazz Festival (Switzerland), and Music in Pflegidach (Switzerland).
