Stick around for the Arabic music jam after the set!

Gaida celebrates the week of Arabic Mother’s Day with a richly textured musical homage to her Damascus roots. While also embracing Blues and Pop elements, her music is deeply rooted in the tradition of Arabic singers like Fairouz and Sabah Fakhri, and her voice, a warm and precise instrument, effortlessly weaves through these styles. With her band’s brilliant novel arrangements, each performance is a captivating musical journey that stirs the heart and soul.
Gaida has graced renowned stages such as Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, BAM, Joe’s Pub, Le Poisson Rouge, and major world music festivals. Her voice has been featured in film and television, including Jonathan Demme’s Rachel Getting Married*, Anne Hathaway’s one-woman show Grounded, and TV series such as Little America and SEAL Team. Her music has also enriched documentaries like The Arab Americans, The Last Saturday in May: Kentucky Derby, and Jimmy Carter: Man from Plains. She has been featured on BBC World, WNYC’s Soundcheck, andSpinning on Air. In addition to her musical career, Gaida is a voice pathologist practicing in her private practice in Astoria. Her album, Levantine Indulgence, is available on Spotify and iTunes.
